Consumer Description
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2002 TOYOTA TUNDRA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE REAR END HOUSING WAS LEAKING WHICH CAUSED THE TRANSMISSION TO MALFUNCTION. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A LOCAL REPAIR SHOP WHERE GEAR OIL WAS ADDED TO THE TRANSMISSION, BUT THE FAILURE CONTINUED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE ENTIRE FRAME NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN REPAIRED. THE CONTACT CALLED THE MANUFACTURER WHO OFFERED NO ASSISTANCE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 53,900.
