Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2000 FORD F150. WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS PARKED THE CONTACT NOTICED SMOKE EMITTING FROM UNDER THE LEFT SIDE OF THE HOOD. THE CONTACT ATTEMPTED TO CONTROL THE SMOKE JUST AS THE VEHICLE BEGAN TO FLAME. THE FIRE DEPARTMENT ARRIVED ON SCENE TO EXTINGUISH THE FIRE. A FIRE REPORT WAS AVAILABLE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT CONTACTED IN REGARDS TO THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 126,000.
