Consumer Description
2010 TOYOTA TACOMA. CONSUMER WRITES REGARDING HIGH RPM OF VEHICLE ENGINE *TGW THE CONSUMER STATED THE DEALER DID NOT OFFER A DIAGNOSTIC OR ROAD TEST TO DETERMINE THE EXTENT OR REASON FOR HIS SAFETY ISSUES. A TECHNICAL SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE STATED THE ENGINE SPECIFICATIONS WERE SET ELECTRONICALLY AT THE FACTORY AND THE RPM COULD NOT BE ADJUSTED. THE CONSUMER STATED THE ISSUE APPEARED TO BE A HIGH RPM OF THE ENGINE, WHICH CREATED AN AGGRESSIVE SURGE WHEN PLACED IN FORWARD AND REVERSE POSITIONS. *JB
