Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2003 CHEVROLET S10. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE LOWER HINGE PIN ON THE PASSENGER SIDE DOOR CONTINUED WORKING ITS WAY UPWARD WHICH CAUSED THE DOOR TO RATTLE ABNORMALLY. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN TAKEN TO THE DEALER IN REGARDS TO THE ISSUE. IN ADDITION, THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE PLASTIC REAR DOOR HANDLE CONTINUED TO FRACTURE FROM THE VEHICLE. THE DOOR HANDLE WAS REPLACED WITH THE SAME TYPE OF PLASTIC DOOR HANDLE. THE CONTACT WAS CONCERNED BECAUSE THERE WAS NOT A METAL REPLACEMENT HANDLE AVAILABLE AND BELIEVED THE PLASTIC WOULD ONLY CONTINUE TO FRACTURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 64,720 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 84,780.
