I OWN A 2010 FORD FUSION HYBRID WITH 7,722 MILES. YESTERDAY, WHILE TRAVELING ON THE INTERSTATE (IN SD) AT 80 MPH, THE RIGHT FRONT DOOR SPONTANEOUSLY OPENED. (THERE SEEMED TO BE A SAFETY LATCH SIMILAR TO ONE ON THE HOOD OF A CAR, SO IT POPPED OPEN AND THE INTERIOR "LOCK/UNLOCK" SWITCHES OPENED BUT THE DOOR ITSELF DID NOT OPEN ANY DISTANCE.) WE CHECKED THE LOCK MECHANISM AND ALSO TRIED TO RECALL IF WE COULD HAVE DONE ANYTHING TO CAUSE THE DOOR TO OPEN BUT COULD FIND/RECALL NOTHING. *TR
