Consumer Description

TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2009 PONTIAC VIBE. WHENEVER THE CONTACT APPLIED THE BRAKES, HE NOTICED THAT THE VEHICLE WOULD SUDDENLY SURGE FORWARD FOR A SHORT PERIOD BEFORE CORRECTING ITSELF. THE FAILURE OCCURRED WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 35 MPH. THE VEHICLE HAS NOT BEEN DIAGNOSED BY THE DEALERSHIP. THE CONTACT HAD RECALL NHTSA ID NUMBER 10V018000, VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL, ACCELERATOR PEDAL AND 10V024000 PERFORMED ON HIS VEHICLE PRIOR TO THE RECENT FAILURE. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGES WERE 29000.
