Consumer Description

TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 TOYOTA CAMRY. THE CONTACT WAS DRIVING APPROXIMATELY BETWEEN 50-55 MPH. SUDDENLY, THERE WAS A LOSS OF STEERING CONTROL. THE DRIVER STATED THE VEHICLE BEGAN TO DRIFT TO THE LEFT AND RIGHT DIRECTION. THE VEHICLE WAS ABLE TO CONTINUE IN OPERATION. THERE WAS EXTREME DIFFICULTY STEERING. THE FAILURES OCCURRED AT HIGH TRAVELED SPEED RATES. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER ON THREE SEPARATE OCCASIONS FOR THE IDENTICAL FAILURES. THE TECHNICIAN PERFORMED A WHEEL ALIGNMENT AND ROTATION OF THE TIRES. THE MALFUNCTIONS PROGRESSED WHICH THERE WERE NO RESOLUTIONS. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 15,000.
