Consumer Description

TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 FORD RANGER. THE CONTACT SMELLED PLASTIC BURNING IN THE ENGINE. HE TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER WHO ADVISED HIM THAT HE NEEDED TO REPLACE THE ALTERNATOR AT HIS EXPENSE. THE MANUFACTURER STATED THAT THEY WERE UNABLE TO OFFER HIM ANY ASSISTANCE. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN REPAIRED AT THE TIME OF THE COMPLAINT. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 50,000.
