Consumer Description
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 FORD FUSION HYBRID. THE CONTACT STATED THAT SHE NOTICED GAS POURING OUT OF HER GAS TANK. SHE HAD THE VEHICLE TOWED TO THE DEALERSHIP AND THERE WAS A HOLE IN THE TANK ABOUT THE SIZE OF A QUARTER. THE FIRE DEPARTMENT HAD TO BE CALLED OUT DUE TO THE FUEL LEAKAGE. SHE DID NOT KNOW HOW THE PUNCTURE COULD HAVE HAPPENED. SHE CALLED THE MANUFACTURER AND WAS TOLD THAT THEY WOULD COMPILE A REPORT BUT OFFERED NO FURTHER ASSISTANCE AT THE TIME. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGES WERE APPROXIMATELY 20,000.
