Consumer Description

POWER SLIDING DOOR FAILURE ON 2006 DODGE CARAVAN. AFTER REGULAR USE OF THE POWER SLIDING DOOR FEATURE IT NO LONGER FUNCTIONS CORRECTLY. IT STOPS AFTER OPENING 6-8 INCHES AND DOES THE SAME WHEN CLOSING. THIS HAPPENS EVERY TIME THE DOOR IS OPERATED AND IS A CONCERN TO ME SINCE I HAVE SMALL CHILDREN THAT COULD BECOME STUCK BETWEEN THE DOOR. THE PART THAT HAS MOST LIKELY FAILED IS THE WIRE HARNESS ASSEMBLY WITH BREAKS IN THE WIRES. I BELIEVE THIS REPAIR WOULD COST AROUND 300 DOLLARS. *TR
