Consumer Description

FRONT END OF VEHICLE STARTED A VIOLENT SHAKING AFTER HITTING A TRANSITION BETWEEN ASPHALT AND CONCRETE SURFACES AT APPROXIMATELY 60 MPH. THIS SHAKING DID NOT RESOLVE UNTIL VEHICLE WAS BROUGHT TO A COMPLETE STOP. AFTER BRINGING THE TRUCK TO THE DODGE DEALER, WAS TOLD THAT THIS IS A KNOWN PROBLEM WITH THE DODGE HEAVY DUTY TRUCKS, AND THAT THE STEERING COMPONENTS HAD BEEN REDESIGNED. DEALER OFFERED TO REPLACE THE PARTS WITH THE NEW DESIGN AT MY COST - APPROXIMATELY $640. DEALER DISPOSED OF OLD PARTS. *TR
