Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 NISSAN MURANO. WHILE DRIVING 20 MPH THE VEHICLE BEGAN TO SHIMMY AND THEN STALL. THE ABS, BRAKE, AND AIR BAG LIGHT ILLUMINATED ON THE INSTRUMENT CONTROL PANEL, AND THEN THE BATTERY WOULD LOOSE POWER. HIS VEHICLE IDENTIFICATION NUMBER WAS EXCLUDED FROM RECALL # 05V319000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:ALTERNATOR/GENERATOR/REGULATOR), THEREFORE HE WAS INELIGIBLE FOR A FREE REMEDY. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 51,500. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 50,000.
