TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 NISSAN MURANO. WHEN THE CONTACT ATTEMPTED TO START THE VEHICLE, IT MADE A CLICKING SOUND UNDERNEATH THE HOOD. THE VEHICLE WOULD NOT START. THE DEALER STATED THAT THE VEHICLE NEEDED A NEW ALTERNATOR AND INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT HER VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER 05V319000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:ALTERNATOR/GENERATOR/REGULATOR). THE VEHICLE HAS NOT BEEN DIAGNOSED BY THE DEALER. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGES WERE 36,700.
