Consumer Description

TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2002 TOYOTA TUNDRA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE AIR BAG WARNING LIGHT CONSISTENTLY ILLUMINATED ON THE INSTRUMENT CONTROL PANEL. AS A CONSEQUENCE IN A SITUATION THAT WARRANTS THE FRONTAL AIR BAGS COULD FAIL TO DEPLOY, WHICH INCREASED THE RISK IF A SERIOUS INJURY. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER AND A TECHNICIAN CONCLUDED THAT THE AIRBAG SENSOR IN THE FLOOR BOARD NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE HAS NOT BEEN REPAIRED. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGES WERE 186000.
