Consumer Description

TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 1993 FORD F150. WHEN THE FRONT AND REAR TANKS WERE FILLED WITH FUEL, GASOLINE WOULD LEAK FROM THE VEHICLE. THE CONTACT ONLY FILLS THE FRONT TANK FOR THE FUEL TO CIRCULATE TO THE REAR TANK. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR A DIAGNOSTIC AND THEY STATED THAT THE CHECK VALVE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER 93V125000 (FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE: STORAGE TANK ASSEMBLY). THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGES WERE 100,000.
