Consumer Description

TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 1993 FORD F150. WHILE DRIVING AT ANY SPEED AND USING THE RESERVE FUEL TANK, THE FUEL WOULD TRANSFER TO THE MAIN TANK. THIS CAUSED GASOLINE TO OVERFLOW PAST THE FILLER CAP. AS OF NOVEMBER 20, 2007, THE DEALER HAD NOT INSPECTED THE VEHICLE. THE DEALER STATED THAT HER VIN WAS INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER 00V424000 (FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE: STORAGE: TANK ASSEMBLY). THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 140,000 AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 145,000.
