Consumer Description
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2001 DODGE DURANGO. THE WIRING HARNESS THAT CONNECTS TO THE BLOWER MOTOR RESISTER BURNED AND NO LONGER WORKS. WHILE DRIVING AT AN UNKNOWN SPEED, THE VEHICLE FILLED UP WITH SMOKE AND THE CONTACT SMELLED SOMETHING BURNING. THE WIRING HARNESS WAS REPLACED TWICE WITHIN TWO YEARS. THE DEALER STATED THAT THE PARTS FOR THE HEATER WERE UNAVAILABLE AND WOULD POSSIBLY REMAIN THIS WAY UNTIL JANUARY 16, 2009. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 133,000.
