Consumer Description

TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 HONDA CR-V. WHILE DRIVING LESS THAN 40 MPH, THE CONTACT ENCOUNTERED AN ICE STORM AND THE ROAD CONDITIONS BECAME VERY SLIPPERY. HE FELT THE VEHICLE POWER SURGE AND PULL ITSELF FROM ONE DIRECTION TO THE OTHER. THERE WAS A SHIFT IN POWER FROM WHEEL TO WHEEL. THE VEHICLE HAD ALL-WHEEL DRIVE AND THE CONTACT COULD FEEL IT ATTEMPTING TO ACTIVATE. HOWEVER, THE VEHICLE WAS PULLED ALL OVER THE HIGHWAY. THE DEALER STATED THAT NOTHING COULD BE DONE BECAUSE THE VEHICLE WAS AN ALL-WHEEL DRIVE. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGES WERE 20,000 UPDATED 02/05/09 *BF. UPDATED 02/09/09. *JB
