Consumer Description

1998(AND OTHERS) FORD E-SUPERDUTY V-10 TRITON MOTOR(ESPECIALLY USED IN R.V.'S) WILL BLOW-OUT IT'S 4TH OR 5TH SPARK PLUG, UNDER PRESSURE FROM SLIGHT INCLINES OR HILLS, DUT TO THE MANFACTURER USING ALUMINUM HEADS MATED TO A CAST IRON BLOCK. IN SOME CASES, THE BLOWN PLUG WILL TEAR INTO THE FUEL LINE ALONGSIDE, CAUSING THE RAW FUEL TO IGNITE. FORD DENIES THIS PROBLEM, BUT HAS A FIX FOR $3,000 PER HEAD($6,000) FOR BOTH HEADS TO REPAIR. *TR
