Consumer Description

TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2000 FORD WINDSTAR. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE CRUISE CONTROL STOPPED WORKING APPROXIMATELY ONE MONTH AGO. SHE TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER AND WAS INFORMED THAT THE CAUSE OF FAILURE WAS DUE TO BRAKE FLUID LEAKING FROM THE SWITCH THAT GOES INTO THE MASTER CYLINDER. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT A FIRE COULD HAVE OCCURRED. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGES WERE 101,000.
