Consumer Description

TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2004 DODGE DURANGO. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 40 MPH IN DRY CONDITIONS, THE VEHICLE LOST POWER AND STALLED. THE CONTACT PULLED OFF THE ROAD. SHE WAS ABLE TO RESTART THE VEHICLE AND DRIVE TO HER RESIDENCE. THE VEHICLE WAS THEN TOWED TO THE DEALER, WHERE IT IS CURRENTLY LOCATED. THE DEALER HAS BEEN UNABLE TO DETERMINE THE CAUSE OF FAILURE. THERE IS AN OPEN DEFECT INVESTIGATION (EA05018) FOR THIS FAILURE. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGES WERE 36,429. UPDATED 09/05/07. *JB
