TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 JEEP LIBERTY. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE STEERING WHEEL COLUMN SWITCH DISENGAGED WITHOUT WARNING AND CAUSED THE POSITION OF THE STEERING WHEEL TO FLUCTUATE. THE VEHICLE HAS NOT BEEN INSPECTED TO DETERMINE THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE, AND THE CONTACT FELT ITWAS A SAFETY ISSUE. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGE WERE 36,000. *AK
