Consumer Description

T: THE CONTACT STATED BOTH TAIL GATE CABLES SNAPPED WHILE UNLOADING ITEMS FROM THE VEHICLE. THERE HAS BEEN A RECALL FOR A FULL SIZE TRUCK, BUT NOT FOR THE S-10 PICKUP TRUCK. CONSUMER DID NOT HAVE THE RECALL NUMBER. THE SERVICE DEALER DID NOT STATE WHY THE CABLES SNAPPED. BUT THE VEHICLE WAS NOT UNDER THE RECALL AND WAS NO LONGER UNDER THE WARRANTY. CONSUMER REPLACED BOTH CABLES AND THE BOLT. THE BOLTS KEPT COMING OUT BECAUSE CONSUMER DID NOT REPLACE THE COMPONENTS CORRECTLY. *AK
