Defect: THE SHIFT CAM STOPPER BOLT LOCK TAB ON THE INVOLVED VEHICLES MAY NOT PREVENT THE STOPPER BOLT FROM LOOSENING. THIS COULD ALLOW THE SHIFT DRUM TO MOVE LATERALLY.
Remedy: THE DEALER WILL INSTALL AN IMPROVED LOCK TAB THAT WILL STOP THE STOPPER BOLT FROM LOOSENING, WITHOUT CHARGE TO OWNER.
