IN JANUARY 2007 I WAS DRIVING MY 2006 WINNEBAGO VIEW DOWN I-95 TO ORLANDO FLORIDA. SOMEWHERE IN GEORGIA THE TURBO FAILED AND THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON AND I COULD NOT GO OVER 60MPH IN TRAFFIC FLOWING AT 75MPH PLUS. IT WAS VERY DANGEROUS. I TOOK THE WINNEBAGO TO A DODGE DEALER IN ORLANDO AND AFTER 6 DAYS OF UNEXPECTEDLY STAYING IN A HOTEL THEY REPAIRED THE PROBLEM. THIS SAME INSTANCE HAPPENED THIS WEEKEND IN SEPTEMBER OF 2008. I STOPPED FOR FUEL AND I WAS DRIVING ON THE GARDEN STATE PARKWAY AND ACCELERATED AND THE SAME PROBLEM HAPPENED AGAIN. IMMEDIATELY THE I KNEW EXACTLY WHAT IT WAS AND AGAIN THE TURBO FAILED AND THE THROTTLE WAS EXTREMELY SLUGGISH AND I COULD NOT GO OVER 60 MPH. IN STOP AND GO TRAFFIC IT LITERALLY TAKES 30 SECONDS OR SO TO ACCELERATE 10 MPH IN SOME INSTANCES. THIS IS A DESIGN...
FAILURE OF TURBO RESONATOR. THE PLASTIC PART HAS TWO ELEMENTS, HELD TOGETHER BY GLUE. THEN THE TURBO KICKED IN THE RESONATOR CAME APART AND THE VEHICLE'S COMPUTER FORCED IT INTO "LIMP HOME MODE", WHICH MEANT FREEWAY TRAVEL AT 25 MPH!*TR
