The contact received notifications of NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V049000 (Equipment) and 22V696000 (Structure, Equipment); however, the parts to do the recall repairs were not yet available. The local dealer was contacted on multiple occasions but the contact nor his wife received a response. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure. Parts distribution disconnect.

The contact owns a 2022 Winnebago Travato built on a 2019 Ram Promaster 3500 chassis. The contact stated that while driving approximately 50 MPH, the retractable awning erroneously deployed and struck a light pole, causing the awning to partially detach from the RV. The contact stated that several of the awning poles were bent and damaged after striking the light pole. The cause of the failure was not yet determined. The manufacturer and local dealer were not yet notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 71,000.
