The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 22V696000 (Structure, Equipment) however, the part to do the recall repair was unavailable. The contact stated while driving approximately 40 MPH, the awning unintentionally extended. The contact stated that the awning had unfurled and one of the arms had sheared off from the mounting point on the vehicle. The vehicle was driven to a dealer however, it was not repaired due to the parts not being available. The contact received the notification one month after the failure had occurred.
