The contact owns a 2022 Winnebago Solis constructed on a 2021 Ram Promaster 3500 Chassis. The contact stated that the air condition unit failed to operate as needed due to a defective generator. The vehicle was initially taken to a dealer where a generator sensor was replaced; however, the failure persisted. The contact stated that upon taking her vehicle back to the dealer, she was informed that the generator did not meet the 12-inch specification clearance between the ground and generator; she was informed that the generator only cleared the ground by eight inches. Due to the defect, water from both the front and rear tires would enter the generator during inclement weather; she was also informed that the design defect could potentially lead to a fire. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and denied responsibility for the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was unknown....
