UNDER NORMAL BRAKING CONDITIONS PEDAL INTERMITTENTLY FEELS BOUNCY AND VIBRATES. SOMETIMES THERE IS ALSO A BUMPING NOISE. THIS HAPPENS ONLY WHEN COMING TO A STOP, NEVER UNDER EMERGENCY BRAKING. BRAKING DISTANCE IS NORMAL. VEHICLE TAKEN TO DEALER 5 TIMES, REPLACED HYDROLIC UNIT/CONTROL MODULE/FRONT BRAKE PADS, AND ALL TIRES. DID NOT REMEDY PROBLEM. DEALER STATED IT WAS NORMAL FOR THIS VEHICLE TO REACT THAT WAY DURING BRAKING.*AK

I NOTICED A VIBRATION BETWEEN 25-40 MPH. DEALER FOUND BELT SEPARATION AND CRACKING. THERE ARE 5 OR 6 OTHER INCIDENTS OF THIS ON 1998 AND 1999 VOLVO CARS AT THIS DEALERSHIP. THIS IS A FACTORY DEFECT AND SAFETY ISSUE AND I AM UNHAPPY THAT CONTINENTAL MADE ME PAY A PRO-RATA AMOUNT OF $25 FOR EACH TIRE THEY REPLACED. (DOT NUMBER: LMPDAXUB TIRESIZE: 205/65/15)
