The contact stated that “Critical Safety Fault Battery - Stop and Service immediately” message was displayed. The contact was able to make it to work and had the vehicle towed to the dealer. The dealer diagnosed the vehicle and stated that the vehicle had experienced the failure listed in NHTSA Campaign Number: 22V793000 (Engine and Engine Cooling); however, the VIN was not included in the recall. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was contacted, and a case was filed. The failure mileage was 42,000.
