Defect: THE TAPERED KING PIN MAY HAVE BEEN BROKEN SHORTLY AFTER ASSEMBLY INTO THE AXLE.
Consequence: KING PIN COULD WORK LOOSE, CAUSING ERRATIC STEERINGWHICH COULD RESULT IN LOSS OF CONTROL AND A CRASH.
Remedy: REPAIR TO CORRECT BROKEN KING PIN CONDITION.
