Defect: Polaris Industries, Inc. (Polaris) is recalling certain model year 2013-2014 Victory Cross Country, Cross Roads, Hammer Eight Ball, High Ball, Jackpot, Vegas Eight Ball, 2014 Victory Cross Country Eight Ball, Cross Roads Eight Ball, Ness Cross Country, 2015 Victory Gunner, and 2013 Victory Hardball motorcycles. The fuel pump in the affected motorcycles may have been incorrectly crimped during manufacturing, which...
Consequence: If the fuel pump seizes, the motorcycle will stall, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Victory will notify owners, and dealers will replace the fuel pump, free of charge. The recall began on January 14, 2015. Owners may contact Victory consumer service at 1-877-737-7172. Polaris' number for this recall is V-15-01 A/B.

Defect: Polaris Industries, Inc. (Polaris) is recalling certain model year 2015 Victory Cross Country, Cross Country Eightball, Cross Country Tour, Gunner, Hammer Eightball, High-Ball, Magnum, Vision Tour ABS and Vegas Eightball motorcycles manufactured August 11, 2014, to September 2, 2014. The affected motorcycles may have been manufactured with the transmission shift drum detent roller spring incorrectly installed.
Consequence: If the roller spring is incorrectly installed, the transmission may not shift as intended, potentially causing the operator to lose control, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Polaris has notified owners, and dealers will inspect and repair the transmission, free of charge. The recall began on October 9, 2014. Owners may contact Polaris customer service at 1-888-704-5290. Polaris' number for this recall is V-14-03 A/B.

THE ISSUES ARE A "LEAKING PRIMARY GASKET" AND "ENGINE TICKING" AT START UP, ENGINE KNOCK IS SEVERE AT IDLE WITH CLUTCH IN OR OUT, BUT WORSE OUT. KNOCK STOPS UNDER LOAD BUT RETURNED UNDER DECORATION OR IDLE. DEALER, (SPIRIT MOTORCYCLE) REFUSED TO DO ANYTHING. THE DEALER SAID LEAKING GASKETS AND TICKING ENGINES WERE NORMAL AND WOULD FIX ITSELF OVER TIME. ACCORDING TO THE MANUFACTURE (POLARIS / VICTORY), LEAKING GASKETS ARE NORMAL AND OIL ON THE FOOT CONTROLS ARE NOT A SAFETY PROBLEM.
