TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 PIAGGIO VESPA 946 (NA). WHILE APPROACHING A STOP, THE VEHICLE STALLED WITHOUT WARNING. THE VEHICLE RESTARTED AFTER SEVERAL ATTEMPTS AND RESUMED NORMAL OPERATION. IN ADDITION, FUEL WAS LEAKING FROM THE FUEL TANK. THE FAILURE OCCURRED SEVERAL TIMES. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING, BUT WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE CONTACT RECEIVED A RECALL NOTIFICATION FOR NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 14V364000 (FUEL SYSTEM). THE PARTS NEEDED TO REPAIR THE VEHICLE WERE UNAVAILABLE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 100.
