The contact owns a 2022 Triumph Speed RS 1200. The contact stated while driving at 35-40 MPH and approaching a curve, the brake pedal was depressed and both the front and rear wheel inadvertently locked. The motorcycle rolled over and crashed into the pavement and the contact was knocked unconscious. There were no warning lights illuminated. A police report was not filed. The contact did not immediately seek medical assistance, however, when he went to the hospital, he was informed he had sustained fractured ribs, a fractured sternum, punctured lungs, and a concussion. The contact was still undergoing treatment. The dealer was notified of the failure and the motorcycle was towed to the contact's residence, then it was taken to the dealer. The dealer diagnosed the failure as a computer fault that caused a traction control, ABS and inertia failure. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and was still...
