The motorcycle stops randomly, in motion, when downshifting and with the clutch depressed. The official Triumph Service Center has been visited without success in the repair. The software update did not fix the problem.
On multiple occasions while slowing down, or coming off the line, with the clutch fully disengaged, the motorcycle has stalled. The RPMs drop to zero and it cuts out. Usually you can hear the engine sputter a bit before it cuts. I've tried adjusting the clutch free play and it's made no difference.
The contact owns a 2024 Triumph Scrambler 400 X. The contact stated that while riding approximately 40 MPH, the motorcycle stalled. The contact stated no warning light was illuminated. The contact stated that the failure occurred three times. The motorcycle was taken to the dealer. The dealer had not yet completed the diagnostic test. The motorcycle was not repaired.
