THE LAW SAYS I HAVE TO WEAR THEM. MY STATE INSPECTION SAYS THEY HAVE TO RETRACT. AND TOYOTA SAYS THEY CAN SELL ME TWO NEW ONES FOR OVER $300. *TR
GASOLINE ODOR FROM VEHICLE LAST TWO WEEKS. 1995 T100 4X4; 185K MILES. NOTICED GASOLINE POOLED UNDER VEHICLE BENEATH TANK. DAMAGED PAVED DRIVEWAY. DEALER QUOTED "COMMON PROBLEM WITH FUEL LINE CORROSION ABOVE TANK; NOT DEFECTIVE PART; NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR; STEEL LINE CORRODES; REPAIR IMMEDIATELY DUE TO FIRE HAZARD." VEHICLE AWAITING REPAIR; NOT BEING DRIVEN. *JB
POWER STEERING LINES ARE RUSTED (TUBING) TO POINT ONE IS LOSING FLUID. HAVE HAD TO ADD FLUID. WILL HAVE TO REPLACE LINES (4) BEFORE I LOSE STEERING . *JB
