TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 TOYOTA TACOMA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FRONT AND REAR WINDSHIELD ABRUPTLY BECAME DETACHED FROM THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE A TECHNICIAN STATED THAT THE CHEMICAL USED IN THE WINDSHIELD AREA DID NOT ALLOW THE SEALANT TO SET AND CAUSED THE GLASS NOT TO BE SECURELY ATTACHED. THE TECHNICIAN STATED THAT THE WINDSHIELD NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 94,000.
