Defect: Thor Motor Coach (TMC) is recalling certain 2011-2017 Thor Tuscany and Venetian motorhomes, built on Freightliner Custom Chassis Corporation (FCCC) chassis. The power steering hose on the affected vehicles may be routed incorrectly, and, as a result, the hose may rub against the power stud on the starter motor, possibly causing electrical arcing and a power steering fluid leak.
Consequence: Electrical arcing in the presence of leaking power steering fluid can increase the risk of a fire.

Defect: Thor Motor Coach (TMC) is recalling certain model year 2014-2016 Tuscany motor homes manufactured February 28, 2013, to August 31, 2015 and built on chassis supplied by Daimler Trucks North America. On certain motorhome chassis built with a heavier, adjustable foot pedal, the brake activation signal to certain towed devices may not deactivate when the motorhome service brakes are released.
Consequence: If the brake activation signal to a towed device remains active when the motorhome chassis service brakes are released, the brakes on a towed device may remain engaged depending on brake configuration of the trailer. As a result, the brakes would drag and possibly overheat potentially resulting in a fire. Additionally, following drivers may be confused by the motorhome's actions, increasing the risk of a crash.

THE KIWKEE 34 SERIES STEP HAS THE RIVETS FALLING OFF LETTING THE STEPS FALL AND MOVE WHEN A PERSON ENTERS/EXITS THE MOTORHOME. I HAVE TEMPORARILY SUPPORTED THE STEP WITH A RIVET HOWEVER IT IS CURRENTLY NOT BRADED AND IS HELD IN PLACE WITH JB WELD. I STEPPED OUT OF THE MOTORHOME AND THE STEP GAVE WAY AND I KEEP FROM FALLING BY HANGING ON TO THE HANDLE. THIS HAPPENED AFTER WE PARKED IN THE RV PARK FOR THE EVENING. IT APPEARS THAT THE RIVETS ARE TURNING CAUSING THE EXPANDED AREA TO GRIND OFF LETTING THE RIVETS TO WORK OUT. A PERSON CAN UNKNOWINGLY SLIP AND FALL WHEN THE STEPS GIVE WAY. *TT *TR
