My wife and I were driving Westbound on [XXX] in Washington state just East of Seattle when the driver side slide out went out on its own while my wife was sleeping on the couch. After taking it to the center it was purchased at they told me it was a failure of the safety retainers on the locking dogs that keep the unit secure when retracted.
