#11686957 | FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE:DELIVERY:FUEL PUMP | | 70,000 miles
The contact owns a 2018 Thor Motor Coach Four Winds Motorhome constructed on a 2017 Ford E-350 Chassis and hauling a 17-foot cargo trailer. The contact stated that while traveling to another state in the mountains, the RV suddenly began to buck and lost motive power and stalled on several occasions. The contact was able to pull over safely. There were no warning lights illuminated. The RV was taken to an independent mechanic who determined that the fuel module needed to be replaced. The RV was repaired, but the failure reoccurred. A mobile RV mechanic determined that the fuel module needed to be replaced. The RV was repaired, but the failure persisted. The RV stalled, leaving the occupants stranded for several hours, but eventually restarted. The RV was taken to the local dealer, where it was determined that the OEM fuel module needed to be replaced but eventually used an aftermarket fuel module. The RV was towed to another local dealer, Harry Robinson Sallisaw Ford (2300 S Kerr Blvd, Sallisaw, OK 74955) where it was determined that the fuel module, fuel pump, and PCM needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired, but the failure persisted, and the RV was towed back to the same local dealer. The manufacturer was contacted, who confirmed there was no warranty coverage on the RV for the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 70,000.

Twice! Wheel rim developed a hairline crack in the weld adjacent to the valve stem. 2-times, different rims - both on inside dually rear - one left and one right side. The first happened on our first long trip in 2019. The second time was on the next long trip of 2021. Internet forums are showing that this is a rather "COMMON" issue! Plus, Mercedes has recorded lawsuits with similar rim weld failures on other Mercedes vehicles. I get NO sympathy or compensation through Mercedes or Thor - They each kick the can to the other, and the consumer is left at risk. Human safety is at great risk!

INCORRECT WEIGHT DISTRIBUTION. BACK OF VICHICLE TO LOW,WHICH CAUSES FRONT TO BE TO HIGH. UNABLE TO MAINTAIN LANE WHEN BENG PASSED BY A BIG RIG OR SIDE GUST OF WIND. VICHICLE VERY UNSTABLE,SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN SOLD IN THAT CONDITION.
#11035145 | STEERING | | N/A miles
ONCE YOU GO ABOVE 40 MPH THE STEARING WHEEL STARTS TO SHIMMY AND THE FRONT END VIBRATES. IT TAKES ALL YOUR EFFORT TO HOLD IT ON THE ROAD UNTIL YOU REACH THE SPEED OF 70 MPH OR MORE. THIS HAPPENS WHILE TRAVELING ON MAJOR HIGHWAYS LIKE I95.
