The contact stated that while the vehicle was parked, the contact exited the vehicle and the front driver-side door independently closed and slammed his right hand in the door, injuring three of his fingers. The contact sought medical attention and was informed that he had sustained internal bleeding and was prescribed anti-inflammatory medicine and instructed the contact to try not to move his fingers in order to avoid disturbing the healing process.
