Defect: Terex Advance Mixer, Inc. (Terex) is recalling certain 2024 Commander vehicles equipped with Meritor MX-23-810 axles. The front axle may have an incorrect thrust bearing installed.

Consequence: The incorrect thrust bearings can cause the axel shaft to break and a loss of vehicle control, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Terex will provide inspection instructions and replacement axles as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on March 17, 2025. Owners may contact Terex customer service at 1-203-222-7170.

Defect: Terex Advance Mixer, Inc. (Terex) is recalling certain 2023-2024 Commander, Charger, and 2023 MM300 concrete mixer trucks. The bolts connecting the drum to the drum drive plate may loosen, resulting in the drum separating from vehicle.

Consequence: A detached drum can become a road hazard, increasing the risk of a crash or injury.

Remedy: Terex will provide replacement fasteners and thread locker, free of charge. The manufacturer has not yet provided a schedule for recall notification. Owners may contact Terex customer service at 1-800-678-5961.
