Defect: Stoughton Trailers, LLC (Stoughton) is recalling certain 2023-2024 Intermodal container chassis. The wheel lug nuts are improperly tightened.

Consequence: Improperly tightened lug nuts can allow the wheel to detach, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Stoughton will inspect and tighten the lug nuts, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed July 19, 2023. Owners may contact Stoughton customer service at 1-608-873-2580.
