Recall 07V202000 — EQUIPMENT:RECREATIONAL VEHICLE/TRAILER

Defect: ON CERTAIN TOY HAULER TRAVEL TRAILERS, THE WIRING INSTALLED FOR AN AFTERMARKET GENERATOR IS 14-GAUGE WIRE. THE GENERATOR REQUIRES THE USE OF 8-GAUGE WIRE.
Consequence: USING THE GENERATOR COULD CAUSE THE WIRE TO SMOLDER, BURN OR THE CIRCUIT BREAKER TO TRIP INCREASING THE RISK OF A FIRE.
Remedy: DEALERS WILL REPLACE THE 14-GAUGE WIRE WITH 8-GAUGE WIRE. SKYLINE IS RECOMMENDING THAT OWNERS DO NOT USE THE GENERATOR UNTIL THIS WIRE HAS BEEN REPLACED. THE RECALL BEGAN ON MAY 2, 2007. OWNERS MAY CONTACT SKYLINE AT 1-800-736-2573.
