Defect: REV Ambulance Group Orlando, Inc. (REV) is recalling certain 2019 Road Rescue Type I ambulances. Incorrect material was used for the trip levers used in the rotary latches possibly preventing the doors from being able to be opened.

Consequence: Failure of the rotary latch to function could potentially cause a lock-in or lock-out situation, increasing the risk of injury.

Remedy: REV will notify owners, and dealers will replace the rotary latches and cable brackets, free of charge. The recall began October 28, 2020. Owners may contact REV customer service at 1-855-661-9232.
