Defect: THE TEN(10) MOUNTS WHICH ARE USED TO ATTACH THE AMBULANCE MODULE TO THE MODIFIED LIGHT TRUCK CHASSIS CAN FRACTURE DUE TO METAL FATIGUE.

Consequence: FRACTURE OF THE MOUNTS CAN CAUSE VEHICLE HANDLING PROBLEMS WHICH MAY RESULT IN AN ACCIDENT.

Remedy: GUSSET PLATES WILL BE INSTALLED ON ALL VEHICLES CONNECTING THE LONGITUDINAL BEAMS TO THE TRANSVERSE BEAMS. ALSO, IF INSPECTION DISCLOSES A FRACTURED MOUNT, A STEEL REINFORCEMENT BAR WILL BE INSTALLED TO FURTHER STABLILIZE THE MOUNT. THESE VEHICLES WILL ALSO BE...
