The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed with the cruise control activated, the "Drive Fault," message was displayed after which the vehicle lost motive power and the contact became aware that the brakes were not functioning properly, requiring increased effort to bring the vehicle to a complete stop. The contact was able to pull to the shoulder of the roadway to turn off the vehicle. After restarting the vehicle, the vehicle returned to normal functionality.
