Defect: Prevost Car (US) Inc. (Prevost) is recalling certain 2025 X3-45 Commuter buses. The wheelchair seat belt anchorage may have been improperly installed. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 210, "Seat Belt Assembly Anchorages."
Consequence: An improperly installed seat belt anchorage can detach during a crash, increasing the risk of injury.
Remedy: Prevost will inspect and reinstall the seat belt anchorage as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed November 6, 2025. Owners may contact Prevost's customer service at 1-866-870-2046. Prevost's number for this recall is SR25-311. Vehicle Identification Numbers...
