The backup camera is highly distorted and it is difficult to see what is in the distance (more than 30 ft) from the rear of the car. I have had two incidents where I almost hit someone who was walking up the street past my driveway entrance. I need to look in the opposite direction for oncoming cars and I rely on the backup camera to see if anyone is walking towards the driveway entrance as I'm backing up. The resolution on the camera is absolutely terrible and highly distorted. We have a Ford F150 pickup and a Mercedes 350 GLE and the backup cameras clearly show the street at the end of our driveway. I've attached comparison views of the street from our garage using the Porsche and Mercedes cameras.
