All Forward Collision Avoidance Complaints
The contact stated their fiancé owned a 2007 Pontiac Vibe. The contact stated that while their fiancé was driving, MPH unknown, the vehicle was drifting, then suddenly veered towards the opposite lane going south, causing the vehicle to crash into two vehicles in that lane. The vehicle spun from the impact and ended up in the opposite lane, stopped. The front driver-side air bag deployed. The vehicle was towed and expected to be totaled. The other two vehicles involved in the crash were towed and had damage as well. The driver of the vehicle was injured at the location, following the incident, but received medical attention on the spot. At the hospital, the driver's injuries were fatal. The contact spoke with a certified mechanic who informed them that the Forward Collision Avoidance feature seemed to fail due to other safety features in the vehicle not activating and preventing the crash....
